GitHub has announced the launch of Project HydraFusion, a research preview feature within GitHub Copilot designed to enhance AI-driven code generation. HydraFusion employs adaptive multi-model orchestration to deliver efficient coding workflows, matching or exceeding the quality of existing models while reducing estimated workflow costs. Available to all GitHub Copilot users through the /experimental command in the GitHub Copilot CLI, HydraFusion aims to simplify the process of selecting and utilizing the best models for specific tasks, ensuring developers can focus on their work without managing complex model coordination manually.
