This feature allows users to process inference requests entirely within the specified AWS Region, ensuring strict data residency compliance. The models are available on the bedrock-runtime endpoint and can be accessed through the Amazon Bedrock console or programmatically using the InvokeModel API, Amazon Bedrock Converse API, and Anthropic Messages API. Users can monitor usage and costs through Amazon CloudWatch and AWS Cost Explorer.
