Where that is the right design

Research, study, and any situation where "what does the training data think" is worse than "what do my documents say." Grounding every answer in a cited source makes it genuinely useful for reviewing a stack of papers or a long contract.

The Audio Overview feature — turning your sources into a two-host podcast conversation — is the party trick, but it is also a real way to absorb dense material passively.

The limits

• Only as good as the sources you give it; it will not reach beyond them (which is the point, but worth knowing).
• Tied to Google Drive and Docs for the smoothest workflow.

Who should use it

Students, researchers, analysts and anyone who needs to interrogate a defined body of material rather than the open web. It is free, so the cost of trying it is only the upload time.
